Astrocartography maps the exact spots on Earth where each planet was rising, setting, or at its highest point when you were born — and what living there tends to bring out. Enter your birth details to generate your own map, calculated live in your browser.

Each planet's position (right ascension and declination) is computed in-browser from Keplerian orbital elements — no server, no external API. From that, the tool derives the four classic astrocartography lines: Midheaven and Imum Coeli (where the planet culminates, above and below the horizon) as meridians, and Ascendant/Descendant (where it rises and sets) as curves, using the standard horizon-crossing formula. Nearest-city distances use the haversine great-circle formula against a fixed list of ~170 major cities. Positions are validated against Swiss Ephemeris to within a fraction of a degree for all planets except Pluto, whose simplified elements are less precise.
